The British Library
To provide a rich, engaging and fun experience, a fluid 3D interface was built with OpenGL and C++. Votes from both the 14 in-gallery kiosks and website were communicated to the in-gallery database server, which then produced live graphs and visualisations on two 20ft projection screens. Using a custom rsync-based deployment system, new machines could be fully commissioned in minutes, in case of hardware failure.
